If there’s one place that has truly captured our hearts on this incredible Jerk Centre journey, it’s the beautiful Cornhill Quarter in Lincoln! What an absolutely phenomenal experience! Nestled in the heart of Lincoln’s vibrant city centre, with our gazebo proudly standing opposite Pandora, we couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful setting to share our award-winning Jamaican jerk sauces and dressing. The atmosphere was buzzing, the sunshine was glorious, and the people of Lincolnshire came out in force!
From curious passers-by discovering Jerk Centre for the very first time to enthusiastic customers sampling their way through all four of our delicious creations, the response was simply overwhelming. We laughed, chatted, shared stories and watched so many faces light up as they discovered their favourite flavours. And the icing on the cake? We achieved record-breaking sales! 🏆🔥 But what made this event even more special for me was having my wonderful son Dexter working alongside me, welcoming customers and helping to share our little family business with the world. Looking across our stall and seeing him getting involved was one of those incredibly proud moments that no amount of sales could ever replace. These are the memories that make all the early mornings, preparation and hard work worthwhile. ❤️

Of course, a fantastic market is about so much more than the products on display. It’s about the people who bring it to life, and Cornhill Quarter certainly has some absolute gems! A huge heartfelt thank-you to the lovely Jade Farrier-Hawkins for organising such a brilliant day at The Town Pop-up Market, and to our wonderful friends at The Garden Bakehouse, whose cakes are simply impossible to resist! We also had the pleasure of trading alongside some truly talented independent businesses, including the fabulous Jem de la Crème, whose delectable butters deserve a place in every kitchen, and Barking Beverley Tasty Treats, making sure our four-legged friends aren’t forgotten either! 🐕💖
The camaraderie between traders, the genuine encouragement and the incredible support from the people of Lincolnshire reminded us just how special shopping locally can be. Cornhill Quarter has quickly become one of our absolute favourite places to trade, and we already cannot wait to return when the street trading season gets underway again after Christmas. To every single person who stopped for a taste, bought a bottle, shared a smile or simply wished us well, thank you for helping make Cornhill Quarter one of Jerk Centre’s greatest success stories so far! We’ll be back with our gazebo, our cheeky Badman Sauce, plenty of Jamaican sunshine and, of course, lots of free tastings! Lincoln, you’ve certainly got a very special place in our hearts! 🇯🇲🌶️❤️
