What a wonderful adventure Cleethorpes turned out to be! There is something rather special about taking our award-winning Jamaican jerk sauces and dressing to the British seaside, where the fresh sea air meets the fiery flavours of the Caribbean! 🇯🇲🔥 With our Jerk Centre gazebo proudly standing near Cleethorpes Beach, we were delighted to be part of another exciting trading day, meeting lovely people, sharing our passion for authentic Jamaican flavours and introducing curious taste buds to our four very different creations.
From the gentle warmth of Taste From the Ancestors to the bolder kick of Duppy Conqueror, the fiery personality of Badman Sauce and the irresistible sweet and tangy goodness of Yardie Drizzle, there’s always a flavour to get people talking! But what we love most about these events isn’t simply selling bottles. It’s the conversations, the laughter, the friendships and those wonderful moments when someone tastes our sauces and discovers something they genuinely love. Every event brings new experiences, and Cleethorpes was another lovely chapter in our growing Jerk Centre story. 🌶️💛💚

Of course, what you see at our market stall is only a tiny glimpse of what really goes into building a sauce brand from the ground up! Behind those colourful bottles, smiling faces and cheerful gazebo photographs are countless hours of hard work, determination and the occasional moment of complete madness! 😂 From squeezing what feels like a mountain of fresh lemons and carefully preparing our unique Jamaican sauce recipes to bottling, labelling, packing, loading the vehicle and heading off on another adventure, there’s rarely a dull moment in the Jerk Centre household.
And somewhere amongst all that, we still manage to squeeze in our daily workouts, although judging by the cheeky tummy shot that made its way into our latest social media montage, we clearly don’t take ourselves too seriously! 🥵💪🏾❤️ That’s the beauty of this journey. We’re not pretending that building a business is always glamorous or easy. We’re sharing the real moments, the funny moments, the exhausting moments and the incredibly rewarding ones. Every bottle represents our love for Jamaican flavours, our commitment to quality and our determination to build something we’re genuinely proud of.
